At an online table where everyone plays in the Meld app, each phone shuffles the deck in turn and checks every shuffle as the cards are dealt, not when the night ends. Nobody can stack the deck.
Rigging a card game is an old profession
Card cheats have used marked decks, cold decks and gimmicked shuffle machines. Watch one of the machines taken apart.
